border and boundary between Manitoba and Minnesota, follow Minn. Hwy. 49 (Northwest

331 (Dawson Road NW). At this intersection is Jim's Corner, which is used for
the customs station. Go left (west) on Lake of the Woods County Road 331 (Dawson
Road NW) for one mile, then turn right (north) onto Lake of the Woods County Road
(Pine View Drive NW). After 7/10 of a mile, turn left (west) onto Inlet Drive
NW (which is still Lake of the Woods County Road 332). In 2/10 of a mile, turn

2 from Minn. Hwy. 11. After 6.9 miles, the pavement ends and the road becomes
Lake of the Woods County Road 183 (Faunce Forest Road). After another 5.1 miles
(a total of 12 miles south of Minn. Hwy. 11), turn right (west) on Faunce-Butterfield
Forest Road. In 9.7 miles, this road will come to a junction with Roosevelt-Norris
Forest Road. Stay on the Butterfield Forest Road (the Faunce has been dropped
from the name by this time) as it continues west and then curves to the south.
Two miles after the junction with Roosevelt-Norris Forest Road, the former Norris
CCC Camp (now a Minnesota Department of Natural Resources Station) will be on
the right. One-tenth of a mile beyond this, Butterfield Forest Road will turn
to the west, and Airport Forest Road will go to the south. Take Airport Forest
Road (the site of the Cox-Coyour Memorial Airfield will be on the left) for 2.2
miles, to the former site of the Jarausek School. Turn left (east) and go 1½
miles. Wildwood Cemetery will be on the right. From Roosevelt: On Minn. Hwy. 11,
4/10 of a mile west of the Lake of the Woods County Line, go south on Roseau County
Road 141. Follow the road for 1.7 miles as it goes south and curves to the west,
then turn left (south) on Roosevelt-Norris Forest Road. Follow this for 12. 9
miles as the road goes south, then west, then south again and comes to the junction
