Notes
Cemetery was De-consecrated by the Episcopal Church and purchased by
the Unitarian Church to be sure the cemetery would be maintained, There
have been two burials since Silent Cities (book) was written, Brian and
Chester Carter. The stones with just a "cross" are possibly early
pioneer burials, babies, transists and could be Indians that the
Episcopal church buried, no records are available for these stones (as
per Edith Thompson 7-2001) This cemetery is now used for cremated
burials only |
